Exceeding the Goal: Our 3rd Golf Tournament Transforms the Lives of Our Children

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, we celebrated the 3rd Caribbean Cinemas Golf Tournament to benefit Hogar Niñito Jesús at the Palmas del Mar Golf Club in Humacao. This year, our community of players grew, reaching 100 participants from various corporations. Among them, we were joined by Douglas Candelario, Sajo Ruiz, Rafael Cancel, Jerry Ortega, and others who thoroughly enjoyed their time on the course.

Golf influencer Estefanía joined us on the field, interviewing and playing alongside the participants. Once again, journalist and Godmother of the Home, Aixa Vázquez (Titi Aixa), served as the master of ceremonies for the awards ceremony and raffle. In this edition, every participant walked away with a raffle prize, some even taking home multiple items. It was a beautiful, sunny day with a perfect breeze.

We once again exceeded our fundraising goal, reaching a total of $34,349.94. These funds directly benefited 39 children through essential health services, including visits to medical specialists, hospitalization costs, and the purchase of eyeglasses and hearing aids (for children with autism). We also provided specialized orthopedic shoes to improve gait and posture—meeting a wide range of needs for our boys and girls with the money raised.

We are deeply grateful for the sponsorship of the participating corporations, as well as the players and volunteers who worked on the Tournament. The success of our mission is clearly reflected in these results.
